So much goes into planning for an upcoming season. I think about upcoming life events, listen to my clients’ needs and take all the data when shopping six months in advance. I always hope i get it right :) This season i was fortunate enough to take my  first international buying trip and attend Copenhagen Fashion Week. Getting to attend runway shows and visit the headquarters of some of my favorite brands was truly a life changing experience. Being there allowed me to see how the culture and art directly influenced the designs we saw.

Spring 24' was a refreshing season to buy for. The designers experimented with unexpected color combinations.  It felt like we saw more of a refined palate in which they turned in pastels and bold pops of color for more muted tones. We saw colors such as burgundy mixed with soft yellow or juniper green mixed with a rich brown. These untraditional Spring color choices allow us to evolve, experiment within seasons, and break norms that keep things fresh thus preventing style ruts.  We also saw a continuation of 90's dressing - minimalism at its finest. With relaxed denim, tube dresses, utility trousers and vests, the 90's has their hands all over spring 24'.

This season at Clairvaux we are excited to bring the season's most coveted trends by amazing designers under one roof. Not only will you find the latest fashions, but we are renewing our commitment to bring best-in-class service:  knowledgeable sales’ teams, refreshing honesty and a true sense of hospitality. Our mission is to help women Live Well and Dress Well. We hope you will find inspiration to live and dress your best at Clairvaux.

THE NEW 90'S
Streamlined silhouettes mark 90's dressing. Think supermodel Kate Moss and there you will find your inspiration for this trend.  From slip dresses to relaxed denim and paired back basics, there is an ease and sophistication this season. Focus on buying high quality, timeless pieces. For styling, try simple accessories like a silver cuff or mary jane to complete the model-off-duty look.
RELAXED SUITING
Suiting continues to be a very focal category for the modern woman. This season you will see refreshing colors, from a light lemon to a bold cobalt to a natural sand. Embrace a total suit moment but style more casual with slide and tank. Spring suits are designed to be styled as separates as well; trousers still rule the pant category.
TUBE TOP
Tube tops are back!  Another iteration of 90's dressing is the return of the tube top.  You will see great easy dress styles as well as textured knits paired back to denim or a matching skirt. It's a great way to show a little more skin this season. We are excited to launch a new Australian brand, Posse, that does this trend so well.
SUNDAY BEST
Sunday Best is what we are calling the lady dressing era. From quilted jackets and matching skirts to textured shift dresses, these lady like pieces are trending from Chanel to Anine Bing. They are timeless and, when styled back to modern accessories, really bring a look that is classic and modern all at the same time.
THE VEST SET
By far the biggest trend we saw was the continuation of the suiting vest. However this season instead of a stand alone piece we are seeing these styled back to a matching bottom. Whether it be a matching skirt or trouser, the high impact look will be this quiet luxury staple.
EFFORTLESS CHIC
Who doesn't want to be known as Effortlessly Chic? It comes down to great fabrics, exquisite cuts and paired back styling. We saw so many great pieces that could be explained as easy wearable pieces that had so much style while being simple. This season, it's not about being fussy or being unable to move,  it's about living your life in pieces that move with you and look good while doing it!
SIMPLISTIC SOLES
Another 90's style inspiration comes down to footwear. We love  designs that are simple, sexy and comfortable. Ballet flats, Mary Janes and kitten heel mules were styles that walked down the runway. The runway showcased alife where you can just run out the door and slip a shoe on that completes every look. This season we are so excited to be launching Aeyde. Made in Italy and designed in Berlin, this brand is well made, well priced and we know our clients will love it.

NEW UTILITY
The cargo trend continues to be a design detail of choice for Spring 24.  You will see light jackets with utility pockets and of-the-moment trousers. Oversized pockets are cool to modernize any look. Tibi, Samsoe Samsoe and Proenza Schouler made some incredible pieces that are timeless and keep an outfit looking fresh.
LIMONCELLO
During Pre Spring we saw this trend emerge and now that we’ve hit Spring, we are seeing full blown limoncello. The soft pale yellow is being offered in suiting and handbags. We love this look paired back to more earthy tones such as brown and burgundy. It allows the pastel to be more grounded and looks good on many different skin tones.
SILVER LININGS
Silver continues to gain momentum. From jewelry, to footwear, to handbags, silver is the chic metal of choice.
