Spring Forecast 2021

There is something about a new season that always energizes me. The change in weather, my favorite restaurant seasonal menu, the change in color pallets and wardrobe essentials is so refreshing. The anticipation for Spring 21' has an even greater meaning to me as I'm sure it does for all of us. Not only the seasonal elements are a welcome reprieve from the harsh winter but more importantly the hope of life returning to normal, to eating out and seeing friends and finally being free to embrace our loved one's. 

 

Even though life has not returned quite yet to "normal" there is a stronger sense that we are rounding a corner. It's with that hope that there is a new outlook on life. Out with the old and in with the new. 

 

Clairvaux is now 6 months old and we are so excited to help women embrace a new season!  For many women this past year, not getting ready has left women confused on style and the "muscle memory" of how to put an outfit together has definitely atrophied. So we are making it easy with a new list of services and content that will help women enjoy getting dressed again and finally have somewhere to go!

 

This season's biggest trends are here to inspire and refresh you for what's to come in 2021 // 

 

 

 

Lounge and Work from home is still very relevant. Designers have met the need for a more dressed down lifestyle with easy sets when worn together make quite an impact. Dressing from head to toe in a matching fabric or color for the biggest impact. These elevated sets are comfortable and chic.

 

 

Pops of Color for a powerful Mood Boost. 

From pants to button downs. Embrace a burst of color to awaken all your neutral colors. 

 

 

 

Floral is synonymous with the change of Spring. We are seeing beautiful neutral florals in interesting silhouettes.  

 

 

If pattern and color are not your thing then look for sculptural pieces to modernize your wardrobe. We are loving Tibi's sculpted pant and the continuation of the strong shoulder. This trend is not going away and you should look to embrace a piece or two. A balloon shaped trouser or the sculpted shoulder will change up the great pieces already hanging in your closet. 

 

This season we are seeing neutrals in classic bodies with luxurious fabrication. By Malene Birger has beautiful classics that will stand the test of time and great investment pieces. 

 

 

Denim is a part of our everyday life and we are seeing a rise in denim on denim looks that will carry through Fall 21! It's time to change up the skinny jean wardrobe and look for more relaxed styles. A classic high rise straight or sizing up for a more lived in 90's jean that looks sharp back to a tee and blazer. 

 

 

From lounge to event dresses tie dye isn't going away. Look for a tie dye piece that will get you from day to night! Whether it's a novelty sweatshirt or a complete tie dye dress in a muted color, this will bring peace, love, and happiness to everyone around you!

 

 

It's an 80's come back! We are seeing the Polo trend both on tees & spring knits. Look for a casual every day polo in a classic fabrication for a modern take on this retro style.
